Brian Wee Beng Swee claims real name is David Tan on OKCupid

Brian Wee Beng Swee must have really wished for his parents to have named him David because now he is telling his OKCupid matches that his real name is David Tan. This was shared by his most recent victim.   It's also clear that his parents, ex-policeman Henry Wee Boon Hai and Josephine Nosi, and elder brother Aubrey Wee, are benefiting from Brian's Oscar-winning act as he often meets new "friends" at the family run Sarawak laksa/kolok mee stall at Hock Thai Restaurant in SS2, Petaling Jaya. Aubrey Wee maintains an Instagram account under the username @kolomeeman, which is currently private. You can see the entire Wee clan in this photo. Aubrey Wee is the one giving the thumbs up and Brian Wee Beng Swee is the guy in black at the far right. The guy in grey is not part of the family though. More information can be found at this Lowyat Forum thread somebody created on Brian Wee Beng Swee.

Brian Wee Beng Swee finds another victim

I recently got wind from an affected party that yet another victim has fallen prety to Brian Wee Beng Swee . If you ever come across this individual and suspect anything amiss, or have lost a considerable sum of money to him because he promised you a job or a chance to migrate overseas, then please do lodge a police report. Several have been lodged with him over the years. I advise you to include these report numbers so that the police can cross-reference them and have a stronger reason to go against him: 1. SENTUL/004101/12 (Balai: Sentul) 2. DANG WANGI/011821/12 (Balai: Jalan Dang Wangi) 3. CHERAS/026501/17 (Balai: Sentul) 4. SENTUL/004020/12 (Balai: Jalan Dang Wangi) 5. HSL/014778/12 (Balai: Sentul) 6. DAMANSARA/013864/18 (Balai: N/A) As you can see, there have been six reports lodged against Brian Wee Beng Swee, of which the latest was just made within this month. These are the ones that I, and a few others, know of. We don't know if there are any more. If you ha...

Want to work for FedEx Malaysia? Read this first.

Now that I have your attention, let me follow this up with several names: Brian Wee Beng Swee. David Martin Wee. Just Brian Wee or David Wee or maybe even just Martin (on OkCupid). If any of these names ring a bell, then you may have or may be on the way to getting conned. If this man - going by either of the names above - has recently offered/promised you a job with FedEx, just fucking run because he is a seasoned conman. Don't even trust the letter of offer bearing his signature on the company letterhead - that is a fake and FedEx Malaysia is aware of this although we do not know if the company will ever take action. For a bit of backgrounder, you may refer to here and here for some context. If you are here to confirm some suspicions about this man, who claims to be a high-ranking personnel at FedEx Malaysia (or Singapore or Hong Kong) then you will find information that you can compare against. You should be on high alert if this man has recently offered you a job at FedEx...

Brian Wee and the FedEx job scam

Take heed if you've been offered to work for FedEx Malaysia/Singapore/Asia Pacific by a man who goes by the name of Brian Wee Beng Swee or David Martin Wee - it's a job scam for sure and I'm not shitting you. I was once friends with Brian for a good part of a year plus - only, he told me that his name was David and that Brian Wee Beng Swee was his fictional cousin who works for the Information Ministry's office in Sarawak. I only found out months after his disappearance that David and Brian are one and the same person. With regards to the job scam, Brian had on several occasions urged me to apply to a "newly-approved" communications position at FedEx Malaysia/Singapore that would pay me between USD6,000 to USD8,000 and require me to be based in Singapore. However, I never did get to apply for said position because there would always be some sort of "issue" with management that would result in the position not being available until things were...

Brian Wee Beng Swee, the conman

I make reference to a post I wrote towards the end of last year  about this one friend. Well, turns out that he may actually be a conman after all following some recent  revelations . While I believe I have not been manipulated in any way, I consider the man called Brian Wee Beng Swee to be a potential danger to anyone he attempts to befriend because I - as well as some others who got involved in his con - are unable to figure out his motives until today. Let me share you my story. I used to be quite active on Twitter some time ago, during which I went through a particularly devastating breakup. Brian, who went by the name David Wee then, was following me on Twitter using the now abandoned handle @dmwee. He got in touch with me through DMs and I was grateful for his support and encouragement. At the same time, he started engaging with me and several other people I know on Twitter, including J, a former housemate of mine who is based in Indonesia. Somehow ...
